2003. Thousands of protesting farmers took to the
nation’s major highways yesterday to call on the
National Assembly to not ratify a Free Trade Agreement
(FTA) with Chile.

2003. Protesting farmers from all corners of the country
displayed their creativity during their massive rallies in
downtown Seoul on Wednesday when they introduced a set of
new fighting tools—
starfish bombs
and empty
rice husks.

Seoul to protest Korea’s free trade agreement with
Chile and World Trade Organization talks aimed at lowering
barriers to Korea’s rice market. Some of the
