- Fear and Suspicion Stalk Streets of
Shijiazhuang After Bombings
- Agence France Presse, 17 March 2001. A total of four
blasts rocked the capital at around dawn Friday, with
residents saying up to 200 people were killed. Locals
overwhelmingly believed the blasts were the work of either
anti-government forces or disgruntled workers in the
city's backbone textile industry.
- Five More Arrested for Shijiazhuang
Explosions
- China News Digest, 1 April 2001. Five new
suspects have been arrested in Shijiazhuang city on suspicion
that they are linked to a deadly blast that killed 108 on
March 12. They were arrested during a crackdown on producers
of illegal explosives in Luquan city.
