November 4, demonstrations by over 43,000 workers
nationwide, focusing attention
’Against-Deteriorating Social Security for
Workers’.

of Mongolian Trade Unions organised a demonstration
outside Government House Ulaanbaatar to demand a change in
the country’s labour laws.
- An industrial relations seminar held in
Mongolia: In the storm of the market economy and
privatization
- JILAF, August 2000. JILAF and the Confederation of
Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) cosponsored a local seminar
on industrial relations. The seminar was attended by 34
participants, including 17 women, from Darhan area.
