Be it resolved that the social welfare of all Canadians and all properties of land and resources under the current Federation of Canada and Constitution remain unaffected by any world trade agreement, such as the Multilateral Agreement on Investment. Be it further resolved that the role of all levels of Canadian government maintain their jurisdiction to protect the social welfare and best interests of Canadian citizens, culture and society; and Be it further resolved that the federal government of Canada establish national strategies and national standards to protect all Canadian citizens under any world trade agreement, such as the Multilateral Agreement on Investment so that it cannot override current Canadian laws and the Constitution.
