St Vincent students mapping peaceCANA Online 5 March 2000Kingstown, St Vincent, CANA - Students at a local secondary school in the capital, Kingstown, are today mapping out strategies for a more peaceful society. And, according to principal of the Emmanual High School which has organised the peace conference, they are getting input and experiences from teachers and students of secondary schools in St Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago. More than 100 fourth form students, drawn from secondary schools statewide, are engaged in the exercise which has as its theme: "Give peace a chance." |
