Grenada media workers' deadline runs outCANA, 16 March 2000St George's, Grenada, CANA - Unionised employees of the state-owned Grenada Broadcasting Network (GBN) will meet tomorrow to decide on further action in a dispute with management over increased wages. The workers had issued a deadline to management, which ended today, to improve its wage offer or face possible escalation of industrial action. The GBN workers are today into the third day of a red arm-band protest. |
