E-mail directory of labor organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean

From Instituto Laboral de Educacion Sindicale (Labor Studies Institute) of Puerto Rico, May 1997

The purpose of this DIRECTORY is to facilitate communication between our organizations, through the exchange of documents and experiences that can help the struggle of our labor movements in our respective countries. It can also be used to share strategies, develop solidarity work, coordinate international activities and foment investigations on labor issues. We believe that, with the publication of this DIRECTORY, we can multiply our contacts with other organizations and that we can all learn from the struggles and challenges that workers confront in our countries.

The DIRECTORY is not limitted to unions and federations, we also include labor institutes, political organizations, environmental groups, women's groups and other organizations that serve the interests of the working class. We also include some organizations in Canada, the United States, Europe and other countries that may be important for our work. We also include the addresses of some international organizations.

We will publish an updated DIRECTORY at least every six months. If you wish to add the name and e-mail address of any labor organization, or to submit changes and corrections, please e-mail to any one of the following addresses:

cquiros@igc.apc.org

In solidarity,

IMPORTANT NOTE: The LABOR DIRECTORY may be freely published and distributed by any means, paper or electronic, with the only condition that it be published in its entirety, thus preserving its integrity.
