I vaguely remember it.
It reads like a love song that would be quite popular at social functions at the coast.
I shall post it. I am sure that many on the web know it.
Chorus:
Wape Wapee vidonge vyao
Wakimeza wakitema
Ni shauri yao1
Wanawake ni wajanja
Na werevu wanao
Waona baba likija(?)
Wakiwa (?)ni shemeji
Mwanifuasa ni mojay Kumbe ni mume mwenzio, Jomba2
Walifuasa? ni moja
Wewe na mume mwenzio
Kisikia nikiota?
Dunia yetu ya leo
Wake hatuna(?) haja
Ya matumizi na nguo, Jamaa3 Wanawake ni wajanja
Hakika nimekubali
Wanawake ni wajanja
Hakika nimekubali
Waona baba likija?
Limevaa suruali
Unafuasa? ni moja?
Kumbe ni mume wa pili, Jomba4
Japokuwa msikizi?
Nikupe ndiyo ni sawa
Waume wa siku hizi
Hati(?) tunaelewa
Unaweka(?) mwana wa kazi
Unarudi ukamuoa, Jamaa5
Jamani wivu mwaona
Mi silali pekee yangu
Nimezidi kusonona
Mume utika? wenzangu
Furaha nimezo-ona
Ni kwa mpenzi wangu, Jamaa6
Hata mfanye nini
Ni muharibu? wachana
Msi-ingiwe mbioni
Hatuzishiki fitina
Tu pamoja maishani
Daima tunapendana, Jamaa7 Mtachoka kututisha
Mtufanye hatuwezi
Mtasita(?) zenu kamba
Haiwi Kwenu ni Kazi
Mimi mwana wa mjomba
Yeye mwana wa shangazi, Jamaa8
Mfanye mfanyeni
Hiyo ni kishighuli
Msichoke? midomoni
Munayosema sijali
Niko naye mikononi
Daima tunapendana, Jamaa
