Port Louis - Police in Mauritius stopped a group of some ten people who tried to stage a demonstration in front of the US embassy in Port Louis Friday afternoon, denouncing US policies in the Middle East.
Calling themselves Al Muhajiroun, the demonstrators took out some placards denouncing US policy in the Middle East and started demonstrating when the police arrived and stopped them from continuing.
However, one member of the group was able to hand a protest letter to officials at the embassy.
