successionists from Cameroon's English-speaking
minority in the North-West and South-West Provinces, who
were accused of plotting armed attacks and are supported
by the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) and the
Southern Cameroons Youth League (SCYL).

demonstrations, are subject to ill-treatment in
prison. They advocate increased autonomy for

independence for the English-speaking North-West and
South-West Provinces.
