LagosGeneral Overseer of the London-based Kingsway International Christian Centre, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has blamed the recent ethnic clashes across the country on Satan.
Pastor Ashimolowo who was speaking with journalists in Lagos said the clashes were instigated by satanic forces bent on stifling the country's development.
He called on Nigerians to reject the evil designs of the devil by coming closer to God. He said this can only be done if Nigerians would accept Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour.
He urged Nigerians to wake up from their slumber and accept Christ, since the country's democratic governance is now viewed as a demonstration of craziness or demon-cracy.
Pastor Ashimolowo said he was in the country to host a one-week Christian conference to highlight the attendant problems facing the country to Nigerians.
The one-week conference which will take place at the Revival Assembly, Ogba will feature other anointed men of God like Dr. Mike Murdoch of Wisdom Training Centre, Dallas, Texas, USA and Dr. Myles Munroe of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, Bahamas, West Indies.
Since Pastor Ashimolowo founded KICC, it has grown to 6,500 members, representing 36 nations of the world. The influence in church growth has been acknowledged by notable Christian evangelists and the media.
