Regarding bibliography on north Africa in the indicated period: I assume you are familiar with Mikel de Epalza, M.a Jesus Paternina, Antonio Couto, Moros y Moriscos en el Levante Peninsular, Alciante: Instituto de Estudios Alcantinus (Publicaciones del Instituto de Estudios Alcantinus, Serie I, Numero 86), 1983.
