See the last few issues of ROAPE, and a number of new studies on the IMF/SAP by James Currey publishers. There have been a number of other books published recently, which you should turn up by searching any major international database under keywords. e.g. the Australian Bibliographic Network turned up 72 books just under "Africa-structural-adjustment": here are a few [SA/SAP=structural adjustment/program]:

Many Africanist and pol. econ. journals have reviewed similar new pub's. over the last few years. If you search in say, *Uncover* you should turn up lots of references.
