The justifications for the war
upon the Republic of Iraq
- Democracy Domino Theory ‘Not
Credible’
- By Greg Miller, Los Angeles
Times, 14 March 2003. A State Department report
disputes Bush’s claim that ousting Hussein will spur
reforms in the Mideast. That installing a new regime in
Iraq will foster the spread of democracy in the Middle
East is a claim President Bush has made in trying to build
support for a war.
- Liberating the people of Iraq by massacring
them
- An Arab press review, Daily Star, Al-Jazeerah, 28 March 2003. They are
‘liberating’ Iraq via massacres, the same way
the Baathist regime took control of it. And the Iraqis,
who are being promised salvation from this regime, are
also being pledged a foreign occupation of their soil and
their homeland.
