Viet Nam takes part in regional trade union functions

A Vietnamese trade union delegation has taken part in a gender equality seminar held by the international trade union, Public Services International (PSI), in the Asian-Pacific region in Sinagpore.

While in Singapore from Mar. 23-27, Vietnamese head delegate Nguyen Ngoc Ban, Vice permanent Chairman of Public Services Viet Nam, on behalf of the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour Presidium, presented a medal for the trade union cause to Albert Ponniah, PSI Regional Secretary General.

The Vietnamese delegation worked with its Singaporean counterpart, who pledged to help open refresher courses for Vietnamese trade union officials in Viet Nam in the third quarter of this year.
