From LABOR-L@YORKU.CA Wed Feb 28 15:07:44 2001 Waterman on WFTU, 2001By Leo Casey, 28 February 2001Peter: Your personal story is a poignant one, and I, for one, find it quite compelling. I know that it has brought the utterly predictible attacks on you here as an anti-Communist by those who have invested themselves in an historical project which is not simply politically and morally bankrupt, with blood oozing from every pore, but dead and buried to boot. "Blind ideologue" does not even begin to describe this type of mindset. As that old post-Hegelian once wrote, "the traditions of dead generations weighs like a mountain on the brains of the living."
